Senior Legal Counsel - Major Business - Germany

Our client is a multinational organisation that specialise in supporting big-ticket turnkey projects across the energy and heavy industrial sectors - worldwide. They generate in excess of 20bn Euros in revenues annually and enjoy an excellent reputation. 

A new, exciting and challenging role now exists for a talented commercial lawyer to join the team in Germany. The role will address international activities and will work alongside the projects and commercial functions. You must have a proven background in managing high-worth projects and contracts. The remit requires the role holder to be familiar with full-cycle contract management, from RFP - post award. 

For consideration applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:

• 5+ years commercial legal experience*
• Fluent German and English
• German legal qualification 
• High-worth multi-partner projects experience – on an international scale
• Contract negotiation and drafting experience
• Industry experience within ICT, Heavy Industry, Construction or Engineering 
• Commercially astute, adept at building business relationships, able to work effectively with internal and external key partners
• Reputed law firm background
