First Notification Handler.
A leading Newcastle based legal 500 law firm are currently looking to recruit experienced First Notification Handlers to join their well established, busy team. Real opportunities to progress into further claims handling roles, dealing with third parties, personal injury, and credit hire.
The successful candidate will have previous first response experience.
Duties will include:
- Contacting new clients
- Taking initial instruction on Personal Injury and/or Credit Hire Cases
- Explaining the litigation process and funding arrangements for Credit Hire claims
- Schedule telephone conferences with Client/Witnesses
- Explain the contents of claiming to clients
- Maintain the diary for the Statement Team
- Book counsel and maintain their conference diary
- Confirming trial attendance with clients
- Maintaining a high standard of client care at all times
- The ideal candidate will posses good communication and organisation skills, with an excellent telephone manner, basic knowledge of the process for making a Personal Injury and Credit Hire claim and experience using a case management system
