Based in Surrey, they require a Part Time Legal Counsel - Surrey to support the business outputs.

My client operates in a flexible environment supporting their staff to ensure they remain rewarded and motivated.

My client also has offices in Central London.

Description

The Part Time Legal Counsel - Surrey will be an integral part of the business. Supporting the team, the Part Time Legal Counsel will build on established processes, strategise with senior stakeholders and provide real time support to the business.

This lawyer will manage external counsel where required as well as managing current commercial contract requirements including:

- technology agreements - software licenses

- data protection

- supplier agreements

- SLAs

- Intellectual Property

Profile

The ideal Part Time Legal Counsel - Surrey candidate will be a UK qualified lawyer c4+ years PQE* having trained at a top law firm/in-house business.

They will be experienced in:

- reviewing/drafting/negotiating commercial contracts

- have exposure supporting sales teams

- be comfortable allocated external counsel budget

- have an understanding of Data Protection

- be a confident communicator with a range of stakeholders

*PQE is a guideline - no level of experience will be precluded

Job Offer

The basic package is the full time equivalent of £70-80k.

The salary will be pro rated down for 3-4 days depending on experience.
