Counsel - Payments And Banking 3-7pqe

This global bank is looking for a treasury lawyer to join its legal team in London.

The position involves reviewing and advising on:

• Global payment and cash clearing and settlement activities
• Treasury Services Operations Client Service Delivery
• Contract implementation issues including conducting ongoing maintenance and improvement of standard form agreements
• Regulatory issues

Candidates should have 3-7 years PQE with a legal background in general banking and excellent communication and writing skills. Previous in-house legal and transaction banking operational experience at a global financial institution is preferable, together with knowledge of cash clearing systems and the applicable local and EU rules and regulations regarding funds transfers, deposits, and other related cash management offerings.
