Senior Counsel - GLOBAL Technology Business - Paris

Our client is a major, global ICT business specialising in hardware, software and solutions provision. They generate €multi billion revenues and employ tens of thousands of staff around the world. 

A newly created, exciting role now exists for a talented commercial counsel to join the team in Paris. 

As Senior Legal Counsel you will report to the Head of Legal and, as part of a small team take responsibility for a wide ranging remit encompassing:

• Negotiating contracts and commercial transactions for the business area 
• Supporting the development of legal strategy on topics with strong strategic and financial impact
• Organisation of training and mentoring sessions with other lawyers as well as internal clients 
• Solving complex business problems through your expertise 
• Providing advice on various areas including commercial / contract law, distribution, competition law and new technologies law

Required:

• French qualified legal counsel with around 10 years experience 
• Master in contract law, commercial law, new technologies law with CAPA.
• Specific focus on service agreements for ICT 
• Ability to manage complex contracts and projects plus litigious matters 
• Proven ability in managing internal and external counsel on project matters.
• Fluent French and English. 
• Ability to operate within an international environment.
