This multi-discipline law firm in a convenient High Street setting is well established in the local area, enjoying a reputation for efficient personal service and with a loyal client base. A significant amount of the firm’s work comes through word-of-mouth recommendation from satisfied clients. The firm is now looking for an ambitious junior lawyer to join the private client team and assist the firm’s founder with a varied caseload of instructions in wills, probate and elderly client matters. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a busy local firm.
The Role
Our client is looking for a good ‘all-rounder’ to take on a range of private client matters including advising on wills, probate and elderly client matters including Power of Attorney and Court of Protection work. This is an opportunity for a newly-qualified solicitor or an experienced legal executive to join a small, friendly firm and take on a varied caseload of private client matters; the firm would also consider an experienced fee-earner paralegal.
The Candidate
You will be a newly-qualified solicitor, established legal executive or ambitious, experienced paralegal looking to join a local firm and develop a caseload of private client work;
You should have excellent client care skills, with the ability to explain complex matters in clear, accessible language, and fluency in a second language would be advantageous;
Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise a busy caseload is essential.
