Paralegal – Debt Recovery

Sue Ross Legal is currently recruiting for a Debt Recovery Paralegal on behalf of our client, a well-known regional firm of Solicitors in the Derby area. We are looking for applications from candidates who ideally have experience within Debt Recovery but our client will also consider applications from candidates who have at least 6 months Paralegal experience gained within any legal practice area.  You should have at least completed a law degree and ideally the LPC as well.

You will be working within our client’s busy Debt Recovery team with duties including providing legal assistance to fee earning staff within the department, drafting documents, liaising with clients, monitoring and maintaining filing systems, and dealing with ad hoc duties when required.

For this role it is essential that you are confident on the telephone, have excellent client care skills and are able to prioritise busy and demanding workloads.
