Immediate starting Billings Assistant/Coordinator is required at new US law firm to London to take responsibility of all the billing functions that are managed within the London office. Duties will include printing and distributing pre-bills generated at the beginning of each month; attending to partner billing requests, meeting with partners where appropriate, attending to edits of time, posting of bills, posting of cheques and wired funds received into all London office bank accounts, assist with priority payments from client accounts, administering petty cash, input expense vouchers and travel advances, reconciliation of reports, preparation of all office and client bank account reconciliations, ensuring compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules, assist Accounts Payable Clerk with input of invoice expenses (includes hard disbursements and personal expenses) on Elite, check coding, liaise with Office Administrator on coding questions on payables, administering automated cheque runs and single cheque requests and assist with resolving queries and issues with vendors relating to invoices.  This firm has a fantastic reputation and is looking for a genuine Billings specialist who is happy to take on extra duties to broaden their skillset.  Candidates must have previous legal billing experience for at least 18 months.  Standard hours are 9:30 – 17:30 with a flexible attitude.  This is a great firm to work for as the team has a strong team ethic where everyone gets on and works together.
