A well-known, international banking group is currently looking for a Data Protection Lawyer to join the team for a period of 6 months.

The is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global organisation during the GDPR implementation process.

Reporting into the team Head you will be working closely with Legal and Compliance functions to ensure UK activities comply with DPA and GDPR. Responsibilites of the role will include, although not limited to;

  • Lead on GDPR implementation
  • Ensure adherence to compliance with applicable data protection laws
  • Provide advice to senior management in respect to data protection
  • Providing assitance on social media policy, marketing and websites in relation to data protection

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate at least 3 years data protection experience either as a qualified UK Solicitor or as a Data Protection Officer within Financial Services.

Applicants must have an excellent understanding of data protection laws in the UK.
