BANKING OR REAL ESTATE PARALEGAL NEEDED - IN-HOUSE BANK - 6 MONTHS

We are working exclusively with an international bank on an exciting paralegal opportunity, initially on a 6 month fixed term contract but with the view to transition to a permanent role for the right person.

The bank is based in central London and is a subsidiary from a larger international bank. They mainly focus on corporate lending in the UK but also do a large volume of real estate transactions. There is a smaller degree of commodities, media finance and tech finance.

This is the opportunity to join a friendly and sociable organisation, with good progression prospects and a high level of responsibility. They are a tight-knit team of roughly 10 legal professionals, with 2 qualified lawyers spearheading the team. They are seeking a paralegal who will be involved in both supporting the legal team (70% of the role) and assistant company secretarial duties (30% of the role). This person is expected to be pro-active and hard-working in their approach, with the view to eventually running transactions with little supervision.

The ideal candidate with have approximately 1 years' experience as a paralegal in either private practice or in-house, preferably within banking or real estate teams. You will need to have some degree of exposure to banking documentation and products. An understanding of company secretarial skills and corporate governance would be advantageous but not mandatory.
