We have a new opportunity for a Bids Specialist or Business Development Executive to join this large City based International law firm. Supporting the Bids Manager, Business Development teams and key stakeholders across the firm, you will be tasked with working on pitches across all practice groups.. There is also the possibility of taking part in different BD projects and coach juniors member of the team.
Responsibilities include;
· Provide strategic input on cross departmental bids and pitches, including suggestions and guidance on fee proposals
· Collaborate effectively with BD teams to create unique selling ideas, solutions or approaches to deliver winning pitches
· Coach fee earners regarding best practice in pitches, including monitoring needs and trends
· Undertake post pitch feedback, analyse and report key findings
· Oversee and maintain the content of the pitch tracking and CRM database (InterAction)
· Develop and maintain all pitch tools and templates
· Develop relationships with other support functions
Requirements
Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, being able to write clearly, concisely and to a high standard. Excellent grasp of grammar and punctuation is essential in this position.
You will possess a degree ideally in English, Communications, Business or a similar qualification and currently be working in a similar bids driven position within legal or professional services. Strong knowledge of;
· PowerPoint and Excel
· In-Design
· InterAction or a recognised CRM database
