Compliance Manager - Healthcare

We are working with an international life science company to help build a compliance function, which will be based in the UK.

As Compliance Manager, you will play a leading role in the overall management of the company’s compliance programme by supporting the Head of Compliance in the day-to-day management and execution of key compliance activities.

You will act as the day-to-day European Compliance Lead and perform all activities such as updating the risk register, performing monitoring activities, updating the incident register and reporting findings from these activities.  The Compliance Manager will additionally be actively involved in EU-wide compliance administration: communications, reporting, training deployment, policy governance and affiliate monitoring programme management.

Responsibilities will include training, business engagement, compliance assessments, ownership of monitoring activities, policy development and risk management and you will work across the breadth of the business which includes pharmaceutical, medical devices and digital health.

• This is a broad and varied business conduct and ethics role, for a compliance specialist with at least 3 years’ relevant experience. You must have working knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry codes (e.g., PhRMA, EFPIA, IFPMA) affecting the pharmaceutical industry and have demonstrated individual commitment to continuous development of skills and knowledge in particular with scientific and medical information.
