Accounts Payable Officer at International Law Firm: £26,000

An international Law Firm is looking to hire a new Accounts Payable Officer to work in the London office to support their London and other Global offices.  Your duties will include ensuring all disbursement and professional fee invoices are properly approved and processed on the billing system, preparing daily payment runs on the firms on-line banking platform, including international payments, paying disbursements in accordance with SRA regulations, making urgent ad hoc payments as necessary, processing remittance advices on a timely basis, Reconciling to payment beneficiaries and resolving supplier statements on a regular basis, identifying discrepancies, dealing with third party/payment queries. Candidates require a minimum of 2 years accounts experience preferably in a legal environment however if not a professional services environment. Standard hours are 9:30 – 17:30 with offices are based in the City.
