An exceptional opportunity for a mid-level IP/IT/Commercial lawyer (or Corporate lawyer looking to transfer) to join a leading global firm and advise on some of the biggest and most IP-heavy deals worldwide. The team are hugely busy and looking for a number of people around the 3+PQE level.You will gain excellent experience undertaking a broad range of IP related work on commercial transactions, including in M&A, IPOs, restructurings, outsourcings, joint ventures and carve-outs. Work on the IT side, advising both IT suppliers and customers, will cover both contentious and non-contentious matters. Much of the work will have an international dimension and you will enjoy significant responsibility and excellent training.
Candidates must have very strong academics but the size of firm you are coming from is not key and the team have historically recruited from all sorts of firms in different locations. Australians and New Zealanders from top-tier firms have always fitted in extremely well. A fun, good sense of humour is also requested!
