A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced HR Manager to work for one of the most sought after international law firms in London, on a 9-month fixed term contract basis.

The HR Manager will support the Business Services Group through the delivery of high-level guidance for approximately 250 internal clients and line management for two HR Officers.

The key duties will include:

  • Driving job needs analysis and reviewing specifications with Heads of Departments
  • Managing the recruitment process, internal moves and succession planning
  • Coaching and advising Managers on performance management, interview techniques and ER matters
  • Applying policy and key processes for relevant groups e.g. flexible working, maternity/paternity leave and absence management
  • Playing a pivotal role in managing change
  • Working closely with the Reward & Benefits team to develop and advise on reward strategies
  • Revising departmental mission and objectives and developing a management information system to support the strategic people plan

You must be a self-starter who is highly motivated and can demonstrate innovative methods of developing others. The HR Manager will have similar experience in a legal sector environment and have a deep understanding of current HR issues. Your strong interpersonal skills will ensure you are able to improve the lines of communication internally and externally, while your high client focus will ensure an exceptional service delivery, tailored to suit a wide range of demands. People and performance management experience is essential and a CIPD qualification is highly sought after.
