Construction Solicitor
If you are an experienced Construction Solicitor looking to take the next step in your career, by heading up a new specialised department then this role will be of interest. The Client is a tier 1 law firm based in the Manchester region.
For the right candidate this role would present an increased role responsibility, an exciting challenge, and increased career growth and earning potential.
The Role
- The firm have a well established and highly thought of Commercial Property team. However they do not have a specialist Construction department.
- You will therefore be responsible for advising existing clients on Construction Law matters.
- It is anticipated that the majority of the work, up to 70% will be non-contentious, with up to 30% contentious work.
- You will also be responsible for assisting the management team to generate construction work from the existing client base and the wider network.
- This will provide an excellent opportunity to shape a new department and to make your mark on a firm.
Suitable Candidates
- This role would suit a very experienced Construction Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE.
- You will have proven experience in advising clients on a broad range of Construction Law issues.
- You will also have strong business development skills. The ability to network and win work is highly desirable.
- If you have a following of clients or an established network to generate leads from that would be looked upon favourably.
- You will be able to work independently but also enjoy working in a collegiate environment.
- You will have excellent communication skills allowing to engage with colleagues and clients alike, with ease.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary is negotiable and dependent upon experience - £50,000 - £75,000.
