A leading international education business is looking for a lawyer with a strong commercial background to join for an in-house commercial role.
The organisation includes a number of high profile and renowned educational institutions and the company continues to add to its portfolio of investments. The role will involve dealing with commercial matters both at the UK and Group level.
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of commercial law, with a focus on drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts including with suppliers, data protection, IP matters, advising on T&Cs and employment policies.
You must have a strong commercial background with experience of drafting and reviewing of commercial contracts, including the indemnities, impeccable time management skills and proven experience of working in a fast paced environment gained from a reputable firm.
Experience in the education sector and working in house is not a requisite, although may be an advantage.
This is an ideal opportunity for a technically strong and commercially minded lawyer, looking to join a fast-paced, ever-changing and consumer oriented organisation.
You will work within a medium sized team of other lawyers reporting directly to the Group General Counsel.
