Corporate Legal Counsel - Manchester 3 - 4 + PQE

A leading international education business is looking for a lawyer with a corporate background to join for an in-house corporate role.

The organisation includes a number of high profile and renowned educational institutions and the company continues to add to its portfolio of investments. The role will involve dealing with corporate matters both at the UK and Group level.

The successful candidate will be involved in M&A, corporate finance, private equity, reorganisations, equity capital markets and corporate governance. The role will also include company secretarial duties including drafting minutes and the KYC procedures.

You must have a strong corporate background with experience of public and private M&A transactional work within a corporate team of a reputable firm.

Experience in the education sector and working in house is not a requisite, although may be an advantage.

You will work within a medium sized team of other lawyers reporting directly to the Group General Counsel. This is a broad corporate role in a dynamic and exciting organisation.
