Childcare Paralegal
Childcare Paralegal required to join a local authority based easily commutable from London for an initial 3 month period.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic childcare paralegal who is looking to join a well run, highly regarded public sector team. Our client is happy to consider applicants with an in-house or private practice background who have significant experience working as a Childcare Paralegal.
The successful Childcare Paralegal will undertake a busy workload, where duties will include managing a caseload comprising mainly of children's social care matters. You will also provide support to Lawyers in the preparation of cases in court and the workload associated with that.
Alongside this, the successful candidate will assist Lawyers with their day-to-day workload, which will involve the following duties;
- Taking instructions and giving advice
- Carrying out research
- Preparing applications
- Drafting documents and correspondence
- Commissioning and instructing expert witnesses
- Preparing court bundles
- Attending meetings
