Banking Solicitor

We have a new opportunity for a Banking Solicitor to join this prestigious Leeds based team. This department advises on the largest deals in the region. The work is high profile and the international reach of the firm means the team has access to clients and work others don't.

You will advise on London quality work often with an international aspect. This will include syndicated and bilateral facilities on corporate refinancing, acquisition finance and real estate finance. On occasion you will work in conjunction with the firms restructuring team.

In terms of your responsibilities you will manage your own caseload and work closely with the rest of the team on more complex, higher value transactions. A key aspect of the role is that you will have significant client contact and be encouraged to business develop and expand your own commercial networks.

Ideally they are looking for a commercially minded lawyer with at least one year's experience working in a recognised banking team. Alternatively the partners are interested in speaking to corporate or commercial solicitors looking to retrain or specialise in banking.
