I am currently working with a small and rapidly growing Banking and Finance team who offer a platform that sits somewhere between in house and private practice. As a team they cover a full breadth of transactions and can offer Lawyers the opportunity to never do the same deal twice as a result of their broad client base and integration with the wider business.

Real Estate and Acquisition Finance are currently a large part to their practice and are now looking to further develop within Leverage Finance, therefore individuals with this experience would have a real advantage applying for this position. The Head of Banking and Finance is flexible towards the dynamics in which this new recruit will fit into the team, with a strong pipeline already in place for 2018, this individual can either take on a broad approach to transactions or work directly with the Partner to develop and build out their leverage finance offering.

Although the work is complex and challenging, the innovative approach of the business allows great flexibility in Lawyers approach to working. Progression and personal development is expected and often quicker than within private practice due to a huge internal network that currently feeds 70% of the current practice, making it easier to build your own practice.

The team are looking for an individual who;

  • Has 5+ years experience in a recognised Banking and Finance team in London
  • Ideally has experience within Leverage Finance and is keen to help grow this area of a practice
  • Is extremely commercial and can confidently network internally within a business
  • Has ambition and drive to succeed but is also looking for a work life balance
