Hybrid Legal & Compliance Data Protection Manager

Well regarded investment bank is seeking a Data Protection Manager to support the Data Protection Officer in covering both the legal and compliance elements.  Key responsibilities will include:

Advising the organisation on data protection obligations; Developing templates and guidance notes; Support the data protection officer to implement and oversee the compliance monitoring programme for data protection; Reviewing and recommending enhancement to the data protection policy and procedures, including to ensure they are compliant with applicable laws and align with their data protection compliance across the EU; and Reviewing and recommending improvements to their data protection policy and procedures, including to ensure they are compliant with relevant laws and align with their data governance framework.  This is a great opportunity for someone with at least one to two years’ experience in  data protection either in a legal and/or compliance function seeking progression, breadth, responsibility and a dynamic team to work with. 

Experience in financial services would be ideal but is not necessary.  A good understanding of IT systems would also be advantageous.
