Compliance Supervisor / Compliance Manager

City-based law firm, which specialises in property work, seeks an experienced Compliance Supervisor / AML Manager, to take on a broad range of Compliance duties.

Our client is looking for a qualified solicitor who can offer previous experience in a risk and compliance department of a law firm. You should have a good knowledge of relevant compliance rules and regulations including anti-bribery and corruption, money laundering, conflicts, client care etc.

Reporting directly to the firm’s Senior Partner, your duties will include:

• Ensuring effective implementation of compliance systems requirements in line with local regulations;
• Implementing and refining an effective compliance strategy, infrastructure and policies which are recognised as best practice in the industry;
• Ensuring that the business can align and comply with anticipated changes to regulations;
• Identifying and analysing emerging compliance risks and trends and raising awareness to the business regarding the impact of new regulatory requirements;
