Education Lawyer
Part-time Education Lawyer required to join a local authority based in London for an initial 3 month period, with the role set to cover a three day per week basis
Take advantage of this exciting opportunity to join a friendly team within a popular local authority. The office is well serviced by public transport and is within walking distance of shops and restaurants.
The successful Education Lawyer will be running a caseload of 10 active cases on average. They will be focusing mainly on SEN work while also be preparing cases for tribunal.
Education matters will include, but won't be limited to;
- SEN work
- School exclusions & admission appeals
- Disability Discrimination
The Council are looking for a well experienced education lawyer who has a real enthusiasm for public sector work. No advocacy experience is required in this role.
Applications are welcomed from those with a private practice or in-house background. Candidates with experience within a local authority are also desirable, but not essential.
