RTA SOLICITOR / ASSOCIATE 0-5 PQE MANCHESTER

RTA Solicitor / Associate Manchester – the motor team of this top national firm is looking for an exceptional candidate to join its catastrophic injury team, focusing on high value complex claims. Ideally you will already have some exposure to multi track work from a defendant background. NQs are being actively encouraged to apply especially if they can demonstrate previous experience as a paralegal.

KEY FACTS

  • Job Title: Associate
  • Location: Manchester
  • Salary: £25,000 - £40,000
  • Reports to: Partner
  • Previous Experience: Experience of handling multi track RTA work especially from a defendant background. Any candidates with experience of catastrophic work are also strongly encouraged to apply.

CATASTROPHIC RTA TEAM

The catastrophic team focuses solely on high-value, non-fraud related multi track work involving claims of the utmost severity including spinal and head injuries. Most of the claims are UK-based though the team does handle some cross-jurisdictional work also.

The team has enjoyed significant growth over recent times and is looking to hire the right candidate to strengthen the team further. The role will primarily involve assisting one of the Partners on complex catastrophic cases from start to finish. However, the successful candidate will also grow their own caseload of slightly lower-value multi-track work.

DESIRED CANDIDATE QUALITIES

The area of catastrophic injury is a highly complex and technical area of personal injury. Our client is looking for candidates with excellent academics and real ambition. Applicants should also demonstrate previous experience of having handles or assisted on high-value multi-track work.

To sum up, the department is looking for bright, technically proficient solicitors who are looking to develop a career in catastrophic injury. Any previous experience of catastrophic or large loss will be seriously considered.
