Risk and Compliance Lawyer

Excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer 0-3pqe to join a global risk and compliance team and gain experience in all risk and compliance functions and particular expertise in the fast growing field of data privacy. No previous risk and compliance experience is required, however a background with an international law firm in a mainstream practice area is highly desirable.

THE ROLE

This is a varied and challenging role which offers the scope to develop and build responsibility. Responsibilities will include development and implementation of data privacy compliance; dealing with a broad range of internal risk and compliance issues (ranging from terms of engagement to market abuse); risk management; drafting policies; advising on contracts with clients and supplies and relevant busines development activities.

ABOUT YOU

In addition to the private practice experience described above, any experience in regulatory compliance is of particular interest. Interpersonal skills are equally important for risk and compliance roles including an enthusiastic approach, good communication skills, a good service ethic and the ability to display discretion.
