We are looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Assistant with Accounts Experience to join the finance team of a leading global law firm.
Our client is an international law firm with 21 offices across the globe and currently has over 1000 staff. The firm has won many awards over the years including International Law Firm of the Year.

Responsibilities
- Support the finance team with the Weekly BACS payment of supplier invoices
- Provide assistant with the Weekly BACS payments of employee expenses
- Ensuring client disbursements are paid in line with Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Process urgent cheques and the payment of foreign invoices
- Perform reconciliations in relation to Client/Matter ledger balances
- Handle SAR breaches/queries & correcting any errors to ensure compliance
- Respond to queries from B&B staff regarding expenses policy
- Dealing with telephone queries from suppliers
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
Candidate Profile
- Accounts experience in an Accounts Payable or Cashiering environment
- Enthusiastic and proactive attitude towards work
- Good attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage day to day operational activities with project work
- Good MS Office skills essential
- Ability to stay calm in often demanding situations
- Proven ability to deal with confidential matters
- Able to work as a team member and ability to work on own initiative
