The client is seeking a commercial lawyer who has understanding of GDPR. The individual in no way needs to be a data privacy lawyer. A good commercial in-house background will be plenty to satisfy them.

Our client sits in the Automotive sector and is a well known brand globally. They are a fast paced company with a lot of history and that is something they are hugely proud of.
Description
The candidate should be happy to take on a range of in house duties but ultimately be primarily responsible for reviewing a range of supplier contracts and other commercial agreements in relation to GDPR.
Profile
The successful candidate will have good communication skills, organisation skills and a good background in commercial counsel roles in house. If the candidate has touched on data protection and has an understanding of GDPR this will also be an advantage but not 100% necessary.
