Our client, a law firm well-regarded for the work it does within the sphere of Litigation law is looking to recruit a Regulatory (Health & Safety and Environmental) lawyer/ Barrister of between 1 and 4 years’ PQE/ Call. The Regulatory team is widely acknowledged as one of the leaders in its field, with extensive involvement particularly in Regulatory and Criminal investigations often in the immediate aftermath of a major incident. Clients come from a variety of sectors including: • Public Utilties • Rail • Healthcare • Public Service • Local Authority • Construction • Manufacturing and Retail • Agriculture.
The work mostly involves defending Regulatory Health & Safety and Environmental matters involving manslaughter and corporate manslaughter, investigations and prosecutions together with representation at inquests and public inquiries.
If you are a Solicitor, you will currently undertake a Regulatory role of which the majority of your work will involve Health & Safety and Environmental matters. If you are a Barrister, you will have significant experience of undertaking Health & Safety and Environmental cases.
