Commercial/IP Lawyer

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced IP lawyer to join the Manchester office of a well-regarded law firm who have a strength advising clients in a variety of sectors. The firm are pre-eminent in this space and are top tier rated in the directories across several practice areas.

A lot of the work of the Commercial team is advising on non-contentious work including IT agreements, data protection, competition law and E-commerce issues.

The department are looking to make an appointment at Senior Associate level due to growth. The firm has a wider national team and they work collaboratively.

We are ideally looking for someone with a minimum of 6 years PQE in IP matters, with your training and experience ideally gained with a city, national or recognised regional practice. However experience of general commercial matters will also be considered.

The firm offer agile working and a holistic perspective to chargeable hours targets. They would also consider candidates who wish to be based across their other Northern offices.
