An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor to join a strong, mid-tier firm based in York. Our client is well-established with a strong market presence and has multiple offices around the Yorkshire region. They are a corporate and commercial firm that pride themselves on building long term relationships and having a very straight forward approach when it comes to their clients. This is a great opportunity to join a hugely successful team and really develop yourself as a solicitor.

This particular role will involve assisting other members of the team on aspects of charity work for a wide range of charity clients, including formation and registration of new charities, advising on their structures, merges, governance and trading and fundraising to name a few areas.

The firm is being really open and whilst charities experience would be highly beneficial, they are also happy to retain someone into this area. Ideally you will have a corporate/commercial background however all backgrounds with transferable non contentious skills are encouraged to apply. Due to the work on offer and the opportunity available, the team is seeking at solicitor at the junior level cNQ-3 year's pqe but are also happy to hear from candidates more experienced.

They are committed to retraining and are eager to hear from people who are technically strong and committed to learn. Business development is a key part of the role with the need to participate in marketing activities so those with an enthusiasm for networking would be of interest.
