Senior Legal Counsel

Our client , a leading asset service provider, are looking to take on a new senior legal counsel. The new hire will work closely with the Head of Legal to ensure development within the Debt team, while managing legal risk and being the main point of contact for the team.

The ideal candidate will have between 4-8 years PQE in either a top tier law firm or  in house banking/finance institution. Knowledge of real estate/ property  finance , securitisation, commercial property or real estate will also be needed.

The new hire will take on a variety of work including the following : liaising with the business in regard of the UK operation , managing junior members, assisting with project management relating to securitisation  and creating reports on regulatory issues.

This role provides a rare  opportunity for a property finance / property lawyer to move into a broader role whilst maintaining a good level of transactional work and having the chance to work in a leadership capacity.
