Description
This This Quality Manager Compliance role is based in Hertfordshire and involves:
- Identification of applicable ISO/BS, legal, and corporate requirements and ensuring the IMS meets these requirements.
- Ensuring legal compliance mechanisms are maintained, including the surveillance of new or revised legal requirements.
- Future-proofing the IMS and conducting surveillance activities to assess for new IMS requirements.
- Ensuring effective support to UK business units and shared services on the application of the IMS
- Planning and programming of IMS projects.
- Ensuring IMS Change Requests are completed to planned timescales.
- Audits of IMS and Workspace use on projects and shared services.
- Attend and support second and third party audits.
- Promptly address any deficiencies in the IMS.
- Review of IMS screens to ensure content and layout is both correct and effective.
- Continual improvement of the IMS.
- Provision of performance information relating to IMS delivery.
- Support all staff across the companies in the application of the management systems.
- Provide general support and guidance on the correct use of management system documentation.
- IMS briefings and induction to staff, including new starters
- The integration of any systems not presently part of the IMS, ensuring they are documented and incorporated within the management system.
- Seek opportunities for consolidation of like-for-like documentation across UK, removing the need for individual business unit documents wherever possible.
- Ensuring the IMS Managers, IMS Coordinator and IMS Administrators are fulfilling their duties, effectively prioritising tasks, managing time and workload to maximise completion of the above objectives.
Profile
This This Quality Manager Compliance role is based in Hertfordshire and requires:
- Demonstrable achievement in an IMS manager role, ideally a senior or leading role.
- Experience in a compliance role
- Experience gained in construction
- Demonstrable 1st 2nd and 3rd party audit experience
- Demonstrate experience of leading or implementing an IMS in a medium-large organisation.
