SSQ are currently working with a top UK law firm that is looking for a Banking & Finance paralegal to join their Banking & Finance Team on an initial 12 month contract.

The Banking & Finance team are widely respected in the market and ranked highly in the Legal500. The firm's technical ability and commercial outlook allows them to provide the highest quality service to clients across the private and public sectors. Successful applicant's duties will include and are not exclusive to the following:

Legal support: performing legal searches; conflict checking; managing documents and proof-reading and cross-referencing

  • Organising and maintaining libraries: KEAT, FSMG (hard-copies/soft-copies)
  • Training trainee lawyers and assisting and contributing with external training events
  • Keeping the team up-to-date with changes in the market (regulations, legislation etc.)

Ideal applicants will have a minimum of 3-6 months experienced gained within the Banking & Finance department from a reputable firm or a well-respected in house legal team. Individuals applying must have completed the LPC with a minimum of a "Commendation" grade as well as a minimum of a 2 grade in the LLB or equivalent.
