A leading supplier to the automotive sector is looking for an Assistant General Counsel to run a European division on the business. It is an exciting opportunity to join a multinational company as a part of their legal management team.
A leading supplier to the automotive sector is looking for an Assistant General Counsel to run a European division on the business. It is an exciting opportunity to join a multinational company as a part of their legal management team.
The role will be responsible for leading the provision of and providing legal services and advice. The successful candidate will also coordinate management of legal and compliance risks across the region.
Key responsibilities:
- Member of the legal management team and responsible for the development and implementation of strategic themes;
- Responsible for the terms of contracts entered into the region;
- Identify areas for improvement and issues of concern in legal and compliance; and
- Management of a team of 3-5 people including a rolling a secondee.
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Ideally 8-12 years PQE however all candidates will be considered on merit;
- Broad commercial and corporate experience gained in the automotive sector;
- Experience managing a team of lawyers: and
- Experience working in an international environment.
