Top In-House Role - Structured Finance & Securitisation - Global Financial Institution - 4-8PQE

My client is a global Investment Bank looking to hire a Structured finance and securitisation lawyer on a permanent basis. 

Key responsibilities include - 

• Maintaining the buisnessses secured debt issuance programmes as current and fit for purpose to enable efficient access to market and swift execution of transactions. 
• Assisting on there central bank funding facilities, including, in relation to the Bank of England Schemes, the pre-positioning and positioning of collateral, co-ordinating due diligence processes on asset pools and advising on drawdowns.
• Assisting on stand-alone issuances, including significant risk transfer trades.
• Providing legal support in relation to SRP.
• Reviewing related governance and standard legal documentation to ensure fit for purpose and within appropriate legal risk appetite.
• Reviewing and drafting legal documentation for projects and transactions contemplated.
• Providing support to other teams in the Group  including the Capital and Leverage Management Team, and the Balance Sheet, Funding and Liquidity Team.
• In addition, providing support to GCTL and other internal stakeholders on unsecured issuances and other corporate matters, as and when required.
• Providing legal support to the business in fulfilling the objectives of the Group Capital and Funding Plans in respect of securitisations (and other risk transfer transactions) and covered bonds, in relation to a range of asset classes. 
• To provide support for US structured finance transactions.
• Organising legal due diligence to enable legal opinions to be given in public benchmark/syndicated bond transactions.

A strong candidate should have at least 4 years post qualification experience from a top city law firm or financial institution.
