Senior ISDA Negotiator
A major global financial organisation is looking to recruit a senior ISDA negotiator to join their well-established legal team in Birmingham on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in an investment bank, law firm or in-house legal department. Experience of banking transactions would be highly desirable, along with a Degree or Graduate Diploma in Law (or equivalent work experience). The role will include drafting and negotiating non-complex and complex master documentation including, amongst others, derivative contracts based on the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) documentation, including IM and VM documentation.
The successful candidate will need to be prepared to assume responsibility for their own workload from an early stage, managing priorities and be willing to get involved in a wide variety of challenging and intellectually stimulating projects with demanding internal and external customers. Candidates must have excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
There is plenty of scope for career progression within the legal team for people who are hard working and maintain a high level of accuracy, while working under pressure in a fast paced environment.
