Adult Social Care Locum

An excellent opportunity for an Adult Social Care Locum Lawyer has arisen to join an established legal team in a Local Authority in the East Midlands.

Our client can initially offer a 3 month contract on a full time and an element of homeworking is available. Applications are welcome from Qualified Solicitors, Barristers or Legal Executives with previous experience working within a Local Government organisation specialising in Adult Social Care Law.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advice in relation to all aspects of Adult Social Care matters to include:

• Court of Protection work and Mental Capacity issues
• Section 16 applications, together with drafting, liaising with clients and case work
• Section 21A appeals including advocacy in the Court of Protection

The position offers an attractive rate of up to £42 per hour (LTD/Umbrella) per hour dependent on experience.
