First Notification Handler

An opportunity has arisen to join a new, dynamic, forward thinking company based in Newcastle.

I am currently supporting one of the North East’s leading insurance partners who, from continuous growth, is looking to expand their First Notification department.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Dealing with first notification of motor claims
• Adopting claims processes
• Understanding of the FCA regulatory regime, FOS ethos and TCF initiatives
• Planning and organising own workload
• Sound negotiation and influencing skills
• Having a good level of both verbal and numerical reasoning, analytical, objective, solves problems by developing and applying solutions
• Using IT word processing and spreadsheet packages
• Understanding of the principles of negligence and how this applies to motor accident liability

A highly competitive salary of £20,000 is on offer. In order to be considered for this opening, candidates must have an RTA or motor claims background. Candidates must have at least 6 months’ experience, either from an insurance or law firm background, dealing with motor claims from start to finish.
