Legal Counsel - M&A - Global Mining Business - London
Client Details
Our client is one of the largest mining / steel importation and exportation businesses in the world.
Description
Key responsibilities with this position will be to manage all legal and contractual issues in relation to M&A activities particularly acquisition or development projects:
- joint ventures,
- public transactions,
- greenfield projects,
- divestments,
- other types of corporate and commercial transactions.
Profile
The successful candidate will be likely
- to be a UK qualified lawyer with at least 5 years post qualification experience.*
- to have substantial post qualification experience working on M&A matters, either within a top 50 chambers ranked law firm, or in house, within an establish a respected in house legal team.
- Experience of the mining / energy sector is desirable but not a pre-requisite.
NB: PQE is for guidance purposes only and lawyers with all levels of PQE will be considered.
