Paralegal - Investment Bank - up to £50k

An excellent opportunity has arisen at a US bank for a Paralegal.

The role sits within the Fixed Income team and will focus on real estate and loan on loan lending.

The team are seeking a Paralegal to assist the legal team with the execution of commercial real estate loans and loan on loan financings.

The role will include:

• Drafting and negotiating non-disclosure agreements
• Reviewing and liaising with external counsel on reliance letters and other loan documentation
• Assisting with loan closing processes (including KYC, invoices and signing of document) and liaising with internal constituents to ensure smooth execution
• Assisting with the syndication process

Applications are welcome from Paralegals who have experience in a banking and finance team in a highly regarded law firm. It is thought someone with experience at a Magic Circle or US firm will have the most relevant experience, but they are open to seeing anyone with strong transactional experience, with loan documentation and the syndication process.

The Paralegal role is initially a 6 month contract but is very likely to be extended/become permanent after this. This is a varied and exciting role with plenty of scope to develop within a busy and growing team.
