Job Title: Real Estate / Commercial Property Paralegal

Location: Central London

Salary: to £35,000 depending on experience

Highly respected boutique property law firm are experiencing an increase in the volume of commercial property work undertaken and as such are looking to recruit an experienced real estate paralegal to provide direct support to a couple of property Partners. You will be expected to manage your own caseload as well as assisting the partners with theirs. The majority of the work will be commercial real estate with an emphasis on landlord and tenant and you will have extensive contact with clients. This will be an extremely varied role but duties will include helping with due diligence, arranging and attending meetings, conducting legal research, reporting on title, dealing with post exchange/post completion formalities (Land Registry applications, SDLT Returns etc.) and preparing and assisting with drafting documents.

This is a very involved role and as the only paralegal in the team, this is a rare opportunity to gain quality training and experience. It is essential that you have some good experience as a commercial property paralegal and a thorough knowledge of commercial property. You must also be confident with all aspects of the post completion process. You must be proactive, have good communication skills and be able to work capably on your own as well as in a team.
