The firm seeks a Criminal Duty Solicitor to join their traditional and authentic culture. In practise for over 60 years with year on year growth means the prospects for progression are high. The Role
This is a rare opportunity for a Criminal Duty Solicitor to join a firm who very rarely recruit due to their high staff retention rates.
You will join a team of 3 solicitors and a paralegal. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-year PQE with a record of advising clients on a wide range of criminal matters. You will have a history of advocacy in court. Candidates should also have the ambition of helping the department develop by utilising their excellent business development skills.
Requirements:
- You will have at least 1-year PQE.
- Candidate will be expected to manage their own caseloads.
- Duties will include: attending police stations to advise clients, preparing and representing clients in court, and preferring briefs to counsel where necessary.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to provide masterful client care.
- You must have a clean driving license.
