The Firm
Our client is a well-established and well-regarded law firm with offices located in London and Berkshire. This Lexcel-accredited firm provides bespoke, yet still cost-effective, service across a wide range of legal disciplines. The firm is now undergoing a period of growth, looking to upgrade its existing provision in a number of departments and currently recruiting dynamic, ambitious, quality candidates to take on a range of interesting instructions and assist with this planned, continued expansion. An opportunity has now arisen for a solicitor with a strong background in family law to join the team in the London office located close to Chancery Lane underground station.
The Role
You will be managing a caseload of family, matrimonial, children and financial remedy cases and should have strong fee-earning capability and the ability to supervise junior members of staff as required. This is a great opportunity for a dynamic family lawyer to progress his or her career with this ambitious and determined firm, running a busy caseload with substantial levels of responsibility from the outset.
The Candidate
Our client is looking for a solicitor of at least 3 years’ PQE in a similar role; panel membership would be highly advantageous as would membership of any relevant professional bodies, such as Resolution;
Familiar with Legal Aid processes;
A robust and determined advocate, possessing excellent technical skills and the ability to explain complex matters in clear, accessible and empathetic language;
A real team player, IT literate and with strong time management and confident in running a busy caseload with minimal supervision:
Comfortable in assisting with business development, and enjoying the challenge of successful networking.
Additional expertise in another practice area would be welcomed, but is not essential.
