Family Law Paralegal - Potential Training Contract

Job Title: Family Law / Matrimonial Paralegal with Training Contract

Location: Central London

Salary: £31,500

An established and highly respected law firm are looking for a paralegal to join their growing family team with a view to being offered a training contract after 18 months subject to continued strong performance. It is absolutely essential that you have outstanding academics, including a 2.1 from a leading university. You must also have at least six months' experience in family / matrimonial work from another leading law firm as they require the successful paralegal to hit the ground running. Strong client and communication skills as well as the LPC and excellent academics are also a must.

The work will be varied but you should be able to produce court documents, bundles and statements with minimal supervision as well as being able to assist in the financial disclosure process. In addition, you will also be required to assist in administrative duties, legal research, debt recovery, court clerking and note taking at client meetings and court hearings. The successful applicant will be included in the firm’s continuing professional development programme, sit alongside several other paralegals and trainee solicitors and work directly for a number of our senior solicitors at one of the country’s best family law firms.  The successful applicant will be given a high degree of responsibility and be able to shape their own career.  Career progression and the potential of a training contract are also available for exceptional candidates over time.
