Childcare Lawyer

We are currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity for a Childcare Lawyer to join an excellent local authority. The Childcare Lawyer role is located in a beautiful, picturesque part of Devon.

The successful Childcare Lawyer will undertake their own caseload, with duties including but not limited to;

• Managing a busy caseload of childcare matters

• Acting as a legal advisor to a wide range of clients in relation to their Children's social care functions
• Undertaking advocacy as required (this may be minimal)

Candidates will be required to have previous experience of handling a childcare caseload of 10-15 care proceedings, ideally within local government, however qualified solicitors from a private practice background will definitely be considered.

The ideal Childcare Lawyer candidate will be available at short notice with part and full time availability being considered.
