We are currently recruiting for a Legal Case Progression Officer to join a great local authority in the Berkshire area.

As a Legal Case Progression Officer you will be able to thrive in a fast moving, high pressure environment with ever shifting priorities, and be able to work independently (as well as within the team) to ensure that deadlines are met in a smooth and efficient manner.

The Legal Case Progression Officer will assist with the team with matter such as:

* Preparing bundles

* Assisting with any administrative tasks to ensure files are ready for court

* Any ad hoc task as and when they arise

In return, the role offers an opportunity to join a highly regarded legal team, where there is plenty of opportunity to progress and develop.

This role would suit a candidate with a legal secretary who has experience dealing with public law matters. Alternatively it would suit a candidate who has done a work placement within a local government team.

The role is initially for 3 months, on a full time basis, however may be extended subject to performance.

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Laura Hayward in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
