The Role

The firm is seeking to hire a Private Client Partner / Head of Department into their South London.

The work in this office is high-quality, you will deal an good client base and be based in an office that houses many of the firms highest billing fee earners. You will work alongside two junior solicitors, with support staff.

The Private Client department is one of the fastest growing across the firm; you will deal with a varied caseload; Wills and Assets, Probates, Estate Planning, and Trusts. You will have lots of autonomy to make the role your own, and the ability to get involved in the regular business development. You will join a team of 20 private client lawyers firm wide, but a smaller team working out of this office. The team culture is friendly, supportive and professional.

You will work as part of a strong team firm wide, you will have excellent management training and will take over a prestigious roster of clients. You will have good support, but a good level of autonomy to shape the team.

Requirements

• You will be a Private Client Solicitor with at least four years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience and I would urge even the most experienced of candidates to apply)
• Have a strong billings history
• Can lead and motivate a team, with a positive outlook
• Be ambitious and dynamic
• You will receive a basic salary that is above market rate, plus a bonus structure of up to 20% of all billings.
• Excellent career prospects, no glass ceilings.
