OUR CLIENT
A leading marketing business seeks to appoint a commercial/IT Solicitor with c2-4 PQE to join an established legal team covering an EMEA workload
THE ROLE
As part of a team responsible for advising the business in London and Europe on commercial contracts, outsourcing and software solutions:-
You will be expected to ensure the organisation's legal interests are best represented and protected in customer, vendor and third party contracts, you will be expected to work as an active participant in negotiating such contracts.
Provide general legal advice, including contract (customer and vendor) support to businesses served.
Analyse and interpret case law, court reports, and proposed and existing laws and regulations to prepare technical reports on how they impact the organisation's operations.
Prepare and negotiate legal contracts, letters of agreement, and other documents related to a variety of trade, commercial, financial, and operational matters (e. IT agreements, media agreements, public sector procurement Agreements, purchase agreements, employment contracts) to protect the organisation's legal and business interests.
THE CANDIDATE
To be considered for this varied in house role, you will have previous commercial experience, excellent drafting skills and a genuine desire to forge an in house career.
As a member of an expanding and collegiate team you will be expected to provide both legal and commercial input.
