Litigation Legal Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity for a law graduate / legal assistant (LLB/GDL/LPC) to join awarding winning Personal Injury law firm based in South Manchester.  This is an entry level role and is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established law firm who offer great career opportunities. The successful candidate will be working within the New Claims department taking initial calls from clients who have had accidents so excellent communication skill both written and verbal is essential.

The firm offer a definite progression and all training contracts are offered to internal staff. Candidates are expected to work within the New Claims team for 3-6 months before progressing into a fee earning role.

Duties include:

• Taking initial instructions from clients
• Obtaining all relevant details from the claim and adding cases onto the system
• Arranging recoveries of vehicles
• Dealing with client queries
• Providing a professional attitude at all times
• Providing updates and working closely with Partners on a regular basis

You will be required to work on a shift basis.
